In an effort to provide vital resources and critical support to Hawaii businesses suffering losses due to COVID-19, the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, in partnership with the State of Hawaii, is launching the Hawaii Business Pivot Grant Program.

The Chamber is pleased to work with our statewide network on this program to reimburse Hawaii businesses and non-profits who have suffered losses and have had to pivot their businesses due to COVID-19. The goal of the program is to assist businesses with both financial and training resources to help them adjust to the new economic environment brought about by the pandemic.

The program consists of:

Technical assistance, workshops, training, and consultant resources to support businesses adjusting their operations.
Online marketplace for businesses to access products and services to assist them in transforming their operations; costs incurred are eligible for reimbursement under the grant program.

Business obligations under this section shall survive and shall continue to be binding upon Business notwithstanding the expiration, termination or surrender of the Website.

‍ BUSINESS COMPLIANCE.
‍Business Contributor shall strictly comply with its articles of incorporation and/or bylaws and all relevant County, State and Federal rules and regulations concerning Business’ policies and operations.

‍ NO DISCRIMINATION.
The Business shall not discriminate in the hiring of staff, compensation, terms or conditions of employment of individuals, use of volunteers, or delivery of client services on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, race, color, religion or disability. Business shall comply with all applicable Federal and State laws prohibiting discrimination.

‍ PROSELYTIZATION PROHIBITED.
‍Business shall not use the Website to recruit or convert a person to a new faith, institution, or cause.

‍ LOBBYING PROHIBITED.
‍Business shall not use the Website for lobbying purposes or activities.

‍ COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS.
The Business shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and County laws, rules, regulations, licensing requirements, applicable accreditation and other standards of quality generally accepted in the field of Business’ activities. In the event a Business fails to adhere to any of the conditions of the Website, the Program may withdraw any part or all of the Business; information or submissions to the Website at the Program’s sole discretion and without advance notice.
